Naxos covers most of what you are looking for. Amorgos adds character, coves and a much more original island feel, but asks a bit more of your logistics. With ten nights, three full island stops would mean more moving than holiday.
You are not looking for a pure beach week or a party route. You want to experience several sides of the Cyclades: easy family beaches, wild coves, tavernas, local products, water sports and a bit of life in the evening. At the same time, the trip should not fall apart into transfers, packing and changing accommodation.
That is exactly why the question is not whether all three islands are attractive. What matters is which island does which job in your trip, and which one only adds pressure.
In peak season you need an island with enough space, different beaches and room to dodge the crowds. That way the whole trip does not depend on how busy a single spot happens to be. As the largest and most varied island in the Cyclades, Naxos is far better suited for this than a small, highly concentrated peak-season stop.
These wishes do not contradict each other. You do not need a full-on party island, just a calm base with one or two livelier evenings. Naxos Chora takes on that role, while Amorgos delivers the more original island feel.
Three main stops mean three accommodation arrivals, two island transfers and several days at least partly shaped by packing, ports and check-in times. Two bases still give you contrast without the trip falling apart.
Naxos works effortlessly as your everyday base. Amorgos is the deliberately more demanding part of the trip: dramatic and more original, but with longer drives and a stronger dependence on the ferry port you arrive at.

Start the trip on Naxos if flight or ferry connections allow it. There are direct flights to Naxos from Berlin. Alternatively you can fly to Athens and take a ferry to Naxos, but that creates longer travel and transfer days.
Naxos matches your profile most strongly. The island combines long sandy beaches, villages, local products, tavernas, water sports and a lively Chora, without you having to change accommodation for every wish.

Amorgos has what Naxos lacks: dramatic scenery, smaller coves, a striking Chora, traditional tavernas, diving and boat options, and a noticeably quieter island feel.
Mykonos does cover wishes like bars, events and water sports, but it fits your core of relaxed, original island feel and a mid-range budget least of all.
Plan the journey home with enough buffer. Leave enough distance between the last ferry ride and an international return flight so that wind, delays or a late port change cannot put the flight at risk.

No. Together, Naxos and Amorgos already cover the decisive wishes. A backup island would not close any real gap, it would just create a third move. The route does not get better with another island, but with more time on the right two.

This western beach area offers the best compromise of family-friendly beach base, tavernas, water sports, easy access to Chora and short everyday distances. Agios Prokopios is slightly bigger and simpler in terms of infrastructure; Agia Anna feels smaller and more shaped by beach tavernas. There is no need to split your stay between beach and Chora.
This southwestern beach area is the quieter alternative for space, long sandy beaches and a more original holiday feel. Kastraki feels less dense than Agios Prokopios or Agia Anna and offers smaller places to stay and individual tavernas instead of continuous tourist infrastructure. A rental car makes sense for shopping, day trips and evenings in Chora. The area fits best if calm and beach access matter more to you than short walks to shops and nightlife.
Kastraki
€An uncomplicated taverna for honest Greek home cooking. The kitchen works with olive oil, vegetables from its own garden, Naxian cheeses and other local products. A good choice for a relaxed, affordable dinner after the beach: simple, fresh and without unnecessary staging.
Plaka
€€More than a classic beach bar: under a big old cedar you sit right on Plaka Beach with a view of the sea and the sunset. Add modern takes on Greek dishes and a particularly good list of signature cocktails. Ideal for a long beach day that flows straight into aperitif and dinner.
Harbor/Chora
€€The slightly finer choice for a special dinner night in Chora. Close to the Portara, the small, stylish restaurant combines seasonal, modern Greek cooking with dishes to share and a careful selection of Greek wines. The atmosphere around sunset is especially beautiful; in August a reservation is recommended.
This sheltered harbor area offers the best compromise of waterfront tavernas, short everyday distances and a strategically good starting point for day trips. Katapola is closer to Chora and the southern beaches than Aegiali, which means noticeably less driving. For a short stay on Amorgos, Katapola is therefore the more practical base.
Chora
€A lively meze restaurant in the alleys of Chora that gives Greek classics a creative twist. Order several small plates to share, such as organic fava, beetroot with xinomizithra, smoked fish or seasonal dishes. The atmosphere is easygoing, and prices stay moderate despite the special kitchen.
Katapola/Xylokeratidi
€Right on the water, Youkali serves modern Greek comfort food with fish, seafood, meat and good vegetarian options. Dishes like octopus carpaccio, mussel linguine or braised goat combine local ingredients with a slightly more modern touch. A lovely choice for a relaxed but special evening in Katapola.
Chora
€€The finer dinner option in Chora: modern Greek cooking focused on fish and seafood, local products and carefully plated dishes. Add an extensive wine list and good cocktails in a particularly atmospheric spot on the upper square of Chora. Ideal for a special evening.

I thought for a long time about whether Mykonos could stay as a short stop. The ferry connections would be convenient, and the island does cover wishes from your profile with its bars, events and water sports. But every time I ran the numbers on your ten nights, Mykonos took time away from the two islands that truly carry what you are looking for. In the end the decision was clear: better two islands done right than three done halfway.
